We are a leading European specialist pharmaceutical company with 110 years’ heritage. We have a presence in all major European markets and employ over 1,000 people. We operate a well-established European infrastructure to develop, manufacture and commercialise products.

We are headquartered in the Netherlands. We own an R&D site in Hengoed, Wales and two manufacturing sites in Hengoed, Wales and Dreux, France.
In the UK, Norgine employs around 650 people. Norgine has two sites in the UK, one in Harefield and one in Hengoed.
Harefield site: The site houses several of Norgine’s global functions and Norgine’s UK Sales and Marketing operations. The site employs around 300 staff.
Hengoed site: In Wales, Norgine makes a considerable contribution to the growth of its life sciences sector. Norgine employs around 330 staff in Wales and is the largest pharmaceutical employer.The Hengoed manufacturing site was opened in 1969. The development centre in Hengoed was opened in 2010, next to its manufacturing facilities.
